1. Controller

The controller for data processing on this website is:

A data protection officer is not legally required and has therefore not been appointed.

2. What this website does not do

To avoid misunderstandings, here is what does not happen:

• No cookies are set – neither strictly necessary ones nor any others.
• There is no analytics, no reach measurement and no tracking.
• No resources are loaded from third-party servers. Fonts, images, stylesheets and scripts are served exclusively from this website's own server, so your IP address is not transmitted to any third party.
• No social media plugins, maps, videos or font services are embedded.
• There is no profiling and no automated decision-making.

For that reason the site does not require a consent banner.

3. Hosting and server log files

When you access this website, the hosting provider automatically stores information transmitted by your browser in server log files:

• page requested, date and time of access
• volume of data transferred and confirmation of successful retrieval
• browser type and version, operating system used
• referrer URL, i.e. the previously visited page
• IP address

The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. The legitimate interest lies in the technically error-free operation and security of the website. This data is not merged with other data sources and is deleted after seven days at the latest, unless a security-related analysis is required.

The hosting provider is IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Straße 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany. It processes this data on my behalf under a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR. The servers are located in Germany.

4. SSL / TLS encryption

For security reasons this website uses SSL or TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the https:// prefix in your browser's address bar. When encryption is active, the data you transmit to this website cannot be read by third parties.

5. Getting in touch

This website has no contact form. Contact is made by phone or, using the address given in the imprint, by email. When you contact me, your details are stored in order to process your enquiry and in case of follow-up questions.

The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR where your enquiry relates to the performance of a contract or to pre-contractual measures. In all other cases the basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR – legitimate interest in handling enquiries effectively – or your consent under Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR where such consent was requested.

I do not pass this data on without your consent. It remains with me until you ask me to delete it or the purpose of storage no longer applies. Mandatory statutory retention periods, in particular under commercial and tax law, remain unaffected.

6. Storage in your browser

The website stores your colour scheme choice – light, dark or automatic – in your browser's local storage (localStorage, key gz-theme). This value never leaves your device, is not transmitted to the server and serves only your convenience. You can delete it at any time through your browser settings.

7. Your rights

You have the following rights vis-à-vis the controller:

• access to the personal data processed (Art. 15 GDPR)
• rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR)
• erasure (Art. 17 GDPR)
• restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
• data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)

• withdrawal of consent with effect for the future (Art. 7 (3) GDPR)

An informal message to the address above is sufficient to exercise these rights.

Right to lodge a complaint

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The competent authority is the Bavarian Data Protection Authority (Bayerisches Landesamt für Datenschutzaufsicht), Promenade 18, 91522 Ansbach, Germany.

8. Changes to this policy

This privacy policy will be updated whenever the legal situation or the processing on this website changes – for example if a contact form, appointment booking or reach measurement is added later.
